2012 Olympics - your views

In 3 years the 2012 Olympics will be here, right on our doorsteps. How does the East Ham Community feel about this massive event? Are you excited? fearful? sceptical? thrilled? What about life after the Olympics? Does the "credit crunch" affect your views? Do you plan to get personally involved as a spectator or volunteer? If you were organising the olympics, would you have done things different? We'd love to hear your comments.
Whatever we think about the use of the money, we can use the Games as a real accelerator for what God is doing. There is scope for all sorts of activities, both sporting and non-sporting eg Big Screen Events on Flanders Field for Olympics and for the World Cup 2010.
