Playing Fields
Flanders Playing Field is a 9 acre site in the heart of East Ham.In recent years the field has been turned from a jungle into a thriving sports facility, used seven days a week. 12 football teams, Three cricket team, an archery club and local schools now use the facility and we run exercise and fitness classes, after school and holiday sports activities there. Completion of a new purpose built sports pavilion and 5 aside floodlit training area is expected in spring 2008 and will significantly enhance the site and extend usage.
The field houses:
3 football pitches (including 1 junior pitch and 2 adult pitches),
2 mini soccer pitches,
5 aside pitches (marked as required)
10 wicket grass cricket square
