1-2-1 Advice Appointments

With high levels of local poverty, many local residents in our area face issues including housing problems, debt, food poverty and unemployment. Others struggle to cope with issues at home such as family breakdown, domestic violence, bereavement or long term illness.

BDCA's team of friendly advocates offer free 1-2-1 advice appointments to help people get through their crises. Our team have been trained as CMA Debt Advisors and can help with things like benefit applications, liaising with social services, negotiating affordable debt repayment plans and helping you access local support services that meet your needs.

We offer free benefits and debt advice appointments between 9.30 - 11:30am on Mondays at The Well. This service is open to anyone from the local community. To book an appointment please call 07951 688 883 or email support@bonnydowns.org

Our Elders Advocate is able to meet with anyone over the age of 50 in The Well between 9.30am-4pm on Mondays. To book an appointment please call 0208 586 7070 (ext 209) or drop into The Well and speak to the receptionist.

We also offer advocacy appointments from 12-4pm on Wednesdays in Bonny Downs Church Hall. These appointments are for the people referred to the Bonny Downs Foodbank. To book an appointment please call 020 8470 9838 or email mala@skillsenterprise.co.uk.

Housing related advocacy is also available for homeless or vulnerably housed adults on Thursdays as part of the New Day Project at the Bobby Moore Sports Pavilion. Appointments available from 9am - 2pm.
