The London Borough of Newham has high levels of physical inactivity, childhood obesity and diet related disease. So BDCA provides access to a variety of affordable, inclusive sports activities and manages high quality sports venues in order to help more local people get active and become healthier.

Low cost sports for adults of all fitness levels:

Are you looking for affordable, enjoyable and local sports activities? BDCA have got it covered! We all know that regular exercise is so important for our physical, mental and even emotional health but in our recent survey many Newham residents said they “rarely exercise” because of the price,  intimidating atmosphere in the gym and time pressures. So we’ve made it easier for you to get fit, have fun and meet new friends through our range of free or low cost sports activities:

Are you struggling with housing or money problems and looking for support to improve your wellbeing? We are excited to join forces with New Way Project and Caritas Anchor House to run our collaborative Active For Life programme of FREE sports with qualified coaches offering you 1-2-1 support to achieve your goals.
