Go Wild summer playschemes
BDCA have been running high quality, affordable summer play schemes for 8-14 year olds every year since 2003. Each year, our experienced Project Coordinators recruit a team of local young people to help us plan and deliver the fun-packed 3 week programme of sports tournaments, games, outdoor play, crafts, creative workshops and trips. We only charge a minimal fee of £5 per child per day (equivalent to £1 per hour) to help cover our running costs. Last year's play scheme attracted 226 children and provided work experience for 43 local young people.
About Go Wild 2019
This year's summer scheme will run from 10am-3pm Monday 22nd July to Friday 9th August at The Bobby Moore Sports Pavilion, East Ham E6 2SG.
(Please note that the scheme is closed on Friday 26/07/19 but we instead organise a coach trip for accompanied children with their parent/carers to enjoy an outing to Margate Beach. We also close on Friday 02/08/19 but offer a children’s day trip supervised by our Play Workers at an additional cost. Please speak to staff to book your trips.)
How to book...
In order to attend the scheme, all children must have a completed registration form signed by a parent/carer. We need one form for each child. Alternatively, you can book at the pavilion on the first day that your child wishes to attend. We are extremely grateful to EECF Newham Giving, Building a Stronger Britain Together and Fred Aldis Holiday Fund for giving us generous grants so that local children can have a summer to remember at a cost their parents can afford.
