Staff from BDCA's Children & Families, Youth and Sports Projects work together to deliver an annual youth leadership development programme that helps local young people to boost their employability, learn new skills and become positive contributors towards their community. Every year we recruit and train a team of young leaders to assist us with the planning and delivery of our high-quality summer play schemes. These young leaders gain valuable work experience and specialist training to become anti radicalisation and healthy relationship role models. In 2018, 32 young leaders completed our training programme.
